Goodbye Constitution Hall
Earlier this week, as many of you know, we played the last song in the studio space on the third floor of Constitution Hall. Several of us staff members and the ever present C.P., our rock through the generations of KSUA, played our goodbye songs. Then we ended the broadcast with Pearl Jam’s Alive closing the tradition of that historic space.
I tried to write something explaining the significance of leaving the station, the history and the love we have for that space we have been in for over 30 years. But I couldn’t do it. Nothing I can write can explain the feelings of leaving that space and saying goodbye.
So I wrote this song:
I know that our volunteers, staff and listeners will always keep the spirit of our station alive. I thank you all for being here with us in the station and on the air.
